Now that you have configured your Manager Role(s)and Allowlisted Role(s) & User(s), and defined your Name-Filters, it's time to cleanup your server!

By typing /cleanse Hashbot will scan your entire user list and take action retroactively.

Those are matches that happened before you installed Hashbot. For new cases, Hashbot will take action automatically.

The /cleanse command will first ask you to confirm that you really want to proceed. After you accept by clicking the CLEANSE button, the process may take several seconds, depending on the size of your server. If the review takes more than 3 seconds, Hashbot will display a progress bar while it collects all users that match the filters.

You will then be presented with the results (matches) along with a link to a Hashbot log, and you will be asked to confirm the bans by clicking the CONFIRM button. If there are more than 100 results, you will be asked for double confirmation.

Then run /cleanse again.

If you notice that a user from the cleanse result is indeed a legitimate user and you don't want to ban them, you can cancel the cleanse by reacting with CANCEL and then adding this specific user to the Allowlist by typing /allowlist add <@username or @userID>
