Allowlisted Role(s) & User(s)

Previously called "Whitelisted"

Users with an Allowlisted role are excluded from and immune to Hashbot's cleanse and ban functions. However, they do not have management access and cannot edit settings or modify the Blocklist.

To add roles or users to the Allowlist, type /allowlist add <@role-or-user> or /allowlist add <@ID>. The <@user> command now supports ALL users, including those not yet in the server. You will need the user's Discord ID for this function.

Example: /allowlist add @Moderators /allowlist add @tarballqc#0001

This designation can be useful for Moderators (or even members of your server) whom you do not fully know or trust to manage the security of your server but who might run the risk of being impersonated.

Allowlist addition ensures Hashbot monitors certain roles or users, however these users do not have abilities to make changes to Hashbot.

Be sure you also Allowlist your other bots, such as Wick or Beemo.
